ANCESTOR SYNOPSES:
On a remote island in Lake Superior, scientists struggle to solve the problem of xenotransplantation -- using animal tissue to replace failing human organs. Funded by the biotech firm Genada, Dr. Claus Rhumkorrf seeks to recreate the ancestor of all mammals.

By getting back to the root of our creation, Rhumkorrf hopes to create an animal with human internal organs. Rhumkorrf discovers the ancestor, but it is not the small, harmless creature he envisions. His genius gives birth to a fast-growing evil that nature eradicated 250 million years ago -- an evil now on the loose, and very, very hungry.

Loved it!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. Scott has given us a tale that represents a startling similarity to what may lie in store for us if scientists ignore the warning signs in their eagerness for results. Beware the Ancestor! HuntingtheMuse.com gives Ancestor a big thumbs up!

Amazing!

§¡|n+€|| Words can't describe the sheer awsome contained in this book! At first I did not know what to expect from this book. I thought, eh, just some book about genetics and such. That thought was violently ripped from my skull! The thought of never ending explosion of awsomeness was then shot into my head with a nail gun! This is certainly tied in to my favorite books along with Earthcore and Infected(although I'm not quite finished with either.)(I will be VERY soon) I am sorry to say that living on a 16-year-old's, no allowance/no job income makes it very hard to purchase books. I will but them as I get money. Hopefully(and I regret to say that I have not yet experienced either, but am starting) both The Rookie and Nocturnal will be placed among my list of favorites. Screw hopefully, they WILL be among my favorites!!!>:( ALL PRAISE FDO!!! \m\>.
